With your support, Firecracker PM, Inc. has completed or continues to support clients in the following areas:

1. Service Provider Messaging Security: Research and delivery of RFP boilerplate on fixed-line messaging infrastructure (MTA), anti-spam, anti-virus, and anti-phishing solutions for service providers. Competitive analysis with five key vendors in this market, across regions.

2. Regulatory Compliance IT controls mapping: Detailed mapping and justification between various industry regulations and technology solutions for two vendors:

  • Enterprise log management vendor: PCI, FISMA, NERC, SOX, GLBA, HIPAA
  • Database security vendor: HIPAA, HITECH Act, NIST-800 (HIPAA Security Rules)

3. White Papers on Regulatory Compliance for IT: Detailed white papers for two vendors:

  • Global enterprise security vendor: PCI DSS v1.2, Healthcare (HIPAA, HITECH, NIST-800)
  • Web/Data/Messaging security vendor: DLP for Healthcare

4. Staff Augmentation – DLP Product Marketing: Part-time product marketing consulting Web/Data/Messaging security vendor in area of Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Creation on five new datasheets and related web copy for different product areas, white paper content for integrated security benefits, flash demo content for RSA 2009, script editing for video training, etc.

5. Staff Augmentation – Program Management for photonics company: Part-time contract program management services for photonics company in field of LCD projection technology. Services are in support for product development and launch efforts.

6. Web content overhaul – NAC: Refinement of messaging and major web content rewrite for Network Access Control (NAC) appliance vendor.
